Scope of the service
GameGrocer provides a marketplace for publisher-submitted game-development assets. Purchase and download features are available only when checkout is enabled for the product and publisher. A Stripe test-mode checkout does not take real payment or create a live purchase.
GameGrocer is the customer-facing seller and collects payment on its own Stripe account. The publisher remains the asset’s licensor and authorizes GameGrocer to offer and deliver the approved license. GameGrocer handles order support, customer tax collection, refunds and disputes. Operator details appear before checkout. An approved or Verified badge does not guarantee an asset will meet every customer’s needs.
Your account
Provide accurate account information and keep your password confidential. You are responsible for activity you authorize through your account. Do not use another person’s account without permission or misrepresent another person’s identity.
Google sign-in, when available, is optional. Third-party services apply their own terms. Signing in through Google does not automatically link an existing password account with a matching email address.
Acceptable use
Use the website lawfully. Do not attempt to bypass access controls, interfere with availability, extract other users’ personal information, distribute malicious code, or use the service for fraud or impersonation.
We may restrict abusive activity or access when necessary to protect users, the service, or comply with applicable requirements.
Website content and asset rights
Assets are licensed rather than sold as intellectual property. Eligible products identify the GameGrocer Standard Asset EULA and its version. Read the description, formats, compatibility and license before buying. Third-party notices remain applicable.
Wishlist and basket entries do not reserve a price or create an order. Checkout uses the server-confirmed price for the reviewed version. Displayed USD product prices exclude tax. Stripe Tax calculates applicable VAT, GST or sales tax from your billing location and adds it at checkout; the final total is shown before you pay. Purchases require a signed-in account. Successful payment must be verified before package access is granted.
Checkout, delivery and disputes
Payment details are entered on Stripe’s hosted checkout, not in GameGrocer forms. Stripe Payments processes the charge on GameGrocer’s account. Publishers do not connect a Stripe account. GameGrocer is responsible for its applicable tax registrations, returns and remittance; automatic tax calculation does not itself discharge those obligations. The checkout return URL is not proof of payment. You can check verified status and retrieve the purchased package from Your library.
The order covers the reviewed version stated there. Future versions and updates are included only if expressly promised in the product description. Explicit immediate-delivery consent is collected before checkout. Where applicable law permits, beginning digital delivery may end a withdrawal right; this does not waive remedies for faulty or misdescribed content.
Full refunds end the order’s download entitlement and license, subject to mandatory rights. A disputed payment temporarily pauses new downloads pending resolution; a dispute alone does not establish license misuse. Keep your order ID for support.
Asset licenses and harmful misuse
The Standard Asset EULA applies only to products explicitly offered under it, and the accepted version is recorded with the order. Existing custom licenses are not automatically replaced. A website account restriction or delisting does not by itself revoke an existing asset license.
Where an applicable license authorizes it, its licensor may suspend or terminate the affected permission for a material breach, including unlawful use, fraud or false claims of endorsement that cause, or present a substantiated imminent risk of, serious legal, security or reputational harm connected to misuse of the asset or associated marks. Poor business performance, negative reviews, lawful criticism or a speculative concern about a brand are not grounds on their own.
Written reasons, an opportunity to respond and a reasonable opportunity to remedy a curable breach are required before termination, subject to necessary urgent restrictions and applicable law as explained on the Asset License page. Restricting a website account does not automatically cancel a valid asset license.

Availability and changes
Features and availability may change as the service develops. We may interrupt access for maintenance, security or technical reasons. An account does not guarantee access to future products or features.
Updated terms are published here with a version date. An order records the purchase terms and license accepted when it was placed; later changes do not retroactively replace that agreement.
Mandatory rights
These terms do not exclude rights or obligations that cannot lawfully be excluded. They do not designate a governing jurisdiction or introduce a blanket waiver of statutory consumer rights. Operator details and jurisdiction-specific provisions will be added when the business details are finalized.
